Maternity Unit Tours
Free group tours of The BirthPlace are held once a month. To obtain dates, times or a reservation, please call 702-233-7103.

Prepared Childbirth Education
The BirthPlace tour is included. Taught in 2½-hour blocks over three weeks.

Lamaze Classes
Bring a mat or blanket and two pillows.

Infant Massage
Two class levels available for parents and newborns up to age 6 months.
Time: 11:00 AM – noon, three-week series

Breastfeeding Basics
Mom and dad are encouraged to attend this one-evening class together.

Sibling Class
For children ages 3-7. Tour of The BirthPlace, dress-up/picture taking and hands-on practice with dolls included.

Wee Can Sign, Level I and II
American Sign Language for babies as young as age 8 months.
Time: 11 AM – noon
Location: Medical Office Building
Level I
Cost: $99 per couple, includes four classes and a "Sign With Your Baby" learning kit.
Dates: May 5 – 26, June 9 – 30, Sept. 8 – 29, Oct. 6 – 27
Level II
Cost: $82 per couple, includes four classes and a "Pick Me Up" music CD/booklet.

New Mom and Baby Time
A casual group for moms and babies ages birth to 12 months.
Time: 10 – 11 AM

Cost: First class is free, then $3 per class. Stamp card covering 10 classes available for $20 -- good for all baby/toddler groups.
